Swap?

Ok My brother just bought a totaled Mach 1. We are gonna swap the motor into his 02 GT. The motor should be a direct bolt in correct? And are the trans different from Mach1 vs the stock GT? The only major problem we are seeing is the computer. We put the computer from the Mach into the GT with Mach motor/trans. will we run into any problems? Like will we need to pull the ignition and install into the gt. They both have pats. Since we have keys for it, there should be no problem correct? Just swap keys/computer\motor/trans, and go? Thanks for any info.

It is an Auto. I heard this trans is pretty good. But not for sure. Thanks for the input. We cant wait to get this installed. These are pretty good motors. Just wanted to make sure I would not have to have the computer reprogrammed since it was coming from a different vehicle. But I guess the key is coded for that computer.
