swappin rear ends

i have a 2004 mustang gt i need to know if a ford 9 in. rear will interchange with the stock rear and what all i would have to do to swap them out. thanks

No 9" housing from a factory car will swap into the SN95 chassis.

However, there are companies out there that are making custom housings for 9" pumpkins. Check out 9inFactory's 9FFOX part, for instance:

But the question I have is: What's wrong with the 8.8" in your car now? It's plenty strong stock and can be upgraded to 31-spline axles for even better durability.
