Anyone know if you can drop the 03/04 cobra (shortblock)4.6 in the newer 07 gt?
Will the newer 3v parts bolt onto the cobra short block?
If you can, is this a big hassle ? Well hopefully someone else is curious about this too. I would hate to spend alot of cash and get stuck.

I believe the main difference is motor mounts. The heads should mate up NP, though you may have to use timing chain tensioners from a mix of years. Not sure about the front cover either.

Yes its possible you would needadaptors for the iron block, ? The 3v heads you can fit the block to im sure Most places that buildshortblocks use the iron cobra block over the aluminum.
Man the engine swap I'm interested is with the new 5.0L I'll take that over a supercharger especially if they come out with a hot rod version like they did with the 3v.
