Long story short, my buddy totaled my car and I am buying a 94 cobra roller to swap everything into. I know to use my throttle cable b/c of the no elbow issue, but what else will I have to change, like driveshaft length, which drive shaft do I use, etc.?

BTW here's a pic of the Kewbra:

First off I'm sorry to read about your car I read the thread in the 5.0 talk forums.

The 94-95 mustangs have a longer bellhousing and input shaft on the T5 so if you use your stock fox body stuff the driveshaft might be a touch to short but I don't know for sure about this. It might be fine it is something to look for though.

Does the cobra still have all the factory engine wiring? What all are you looking to swap over (front accersories and brackets?) and what engine mods do you have?

BTW that's a pretty nice looking cobra!

I just went back and looked at your thread about the wrecked GT vert I just about got sick as I looked at the pics.:nonono:

I see that you have a nice H/C/I combo on the engine. You need to be prepared to get that thing tuned as the 94-95 computers are known to throw fits with aftermarket cams.

You can use the computer but it's not just a plug and play deal. I don't know the details though. I believe you have to have some sort of fan controller.

The engine acc are completely different but the fox brackets can be used. I know that people have used them but they are very close on cooling fan clearance.

Just go to a junkyard and pillage a 94 - 95 Gt for the front accessories, and brackets. keep your Fox style TB, and make sure to use the 94's wiring and computer. You can swap the A9l computer into the 94, but the work envolved is just not worth the hassle.

well I went and looked at it today, its awesome, so I put a deposit on it. He said he'll include all the acc and brackets so thats a definite plus. It has a 4pt bar and corbeau seats.

I'm assuming all the underhood wiring is the same then right?
