Swapping Steering Wheel Spokes

Is it possible to switch the steering wheel spokes from one wheel to another?

My girlfriend's 05 V6 has the all-black wheel, and we want to upgrade to a leather wheel. However, we want to retain the black spokes instead of the gray/silver ones on the leather.

What was that all about? Anyways, I got a Bullit steering wheel for my car, it has a black finish on aluminum spokes, doesn't look shiny like the plain aluminum ones. I got a good deal on it compared to the normal prices for the GT500 steering wheels which have red stitching instead of the black on the Bullit.

I've seen some inserts for the spoke on Moss Mustang that change the look of the car completely. Colors and wood look a likes.
