Can you reverse the location of a factory tack and the Speedo on a 67 mustang? If so what’s involved? All the other cars I drive have them on opposite sides and it bugs me when I drive my stang.

ANYTHING is do-able, but this one aint that easy.

The rear plate would have to be cut up, somehthing I would not advocate doing since tach units are rare and valuable these days. The wiring harness would probably need to be cut/spliced too, same goes for the wiring as the backing plate.

If you MUST have them swapped why not do a modern gauge swap?

I'll make you a custom cluster with Auto Meter gauges and swap the tach and speedo positions. You may have to go with an electric speedo as the stock speedo cable probably wouldn't reach, but this is easy enough for you to get in there and check. Don't cut up your original tach cluster -- take one look at what they bring on eBay and you'll know why.

I had no idea that they where worth so much. I do know that one I have is more rare with the 8K tach but I guess I will have to do something different now. Thanks for all the input again:SNSign: rules.
