swapping to 86 front end, what wiring issues.

hello all, i got an 85 for parts and it has a good front clip as my 89 has multicolored and unmatching edged fenders. what am i looking at as far as wiring up the lights to work.

As far as i can remember there isnt any issue's, just bolt it on and away ya go! peace

79-86 has 4 headlights, all 4 are high beams but only 2 are low beams. The 87-93 have 2 headlights which are both high and low beams so it isn't a direct swap, there is rewiring to be done. I have never done this so I cant offer any advice on how to wire it.

anybody else. i have not made my mind up, my front end isn't really bad and i could just sell the front end. it has a nice lift off harwood 2 inch cowl

You can get the plugs needed for the lights at the parts store. I used 89 harness when rewiring my 86 and cut off the 89 light plugs and wired the plugs for the older lights on. Get a wiring diagram for both years and splice accordingly.

thanks, but i think i am just going to sell it unless i can find a 3 inch cowl hood to trade for this 2 inch cowl hood. i knew it wouldn't be too hard
