what does the sway bars do? are they worth it to replace them?

They help keep the car level during aggressive turning. Unless your suspension is modified or the old ones are bad I would run the ones you have.

if i am lowering the car with the eibach set, will the sway bar need to be replaced?

I just lowered mine with the eibach pro-kit a couple weeks ago, and there's no reason you should need to replace them unless they're broken or something.

If you lower the car, you need shorter endlinks. Otherwise, on a big bump, the swaybar can swing up and hit the steering rack.

Ask me how I know this.

any idea where id be able to get new endlinks? and is it easy enough for me to do?

You can get nice aftermarket polyurethane endlinks at a lot of parts stores, or on ebay, or wherever.

However you have to measure yours, then subtract the amount you are lowering the car from that, and find the closest size.

I would get the poly sway bar bushings and the poly end links. The poly end links can be bought at Murrays, but the sawy bar bushings you want to get from Mustang Parts & Accessories - 50resto You need to measure the bars thickness before ordering. Mine were all cracked, and I went with polys. Much better handling.
