sweeeettttt... it was a nice night tonight.. other than the fact my tranny feels like crap.. i beat a 03 silver cobra.. not in a car yall want to hear about but i beat it nonetheless! cut a good time but still had much more motor left to be used.. took him off the line.. through second ate em up.. hit 3rd and he came alive.. got to the back of the car and thats as far as he could get! man i was proud of myself.. he must have been sick though LOL

what are you putting down with your ls1 because my bro was putting down 434rwhp with H/C/I on his 99 z28...now he is going turbo however...Actually the first time my brother went to the track with his car when it was bone stock he was up against and 03 cobra that had nitrous (it ran an 11 something) and he got embarrassed even though he ran a decent time of 13.4
im all motor.. i beat a couple ls1s that werew on the bottle.. i like being all motor and beating power adder cars.. you may make good power.. but is it at your finger tips? na.. gotta tuirn it on, spool it up, or wait for it to come on.. i love it.. especially being that its my daily driver

Greetings fellow LT1 Z28 owner. 
The lt1 is too often underestimated. The LS1 is a better motor, but the LT1 has it's potential. Kind of like H/C/I on a 86 and 87 5.0, once all the work is done, very little difference in performance. I can't wait to sell mine to get my fox running. Just don't have time/money to get the Z in sellable condition.

So yoiu went from 275 crank hp to 450 rwhp with only boltons? Unless you ve done some heads/cam, Im gonna go ahead and call

Heads and Cam are on his list. 450 to the wheels, well, that is little hard but my buddy has a combo like that, puts down the high 300's in RWHP and about 500rwhp with a 150shot. Also, his 97 F-body weights 3300lbs. Most weight closer to 3500.

+1......200 rwhp difference with heads, cam and bolt-ons?
le2 package.. its a good heads.cam package.. anyway.. im anywhere from 425-450 at the wheels.. it has 11's wrote all over it with a line lock, 12 bolt, and a torque arm.. mine was flexing to much causin the left side to not hook up.. damn stock pos
