Hey guys I have a switches question:
1. I'd like to install a kill switch in the back of the ash tray. I was wondering what kind of switch would I use? I was thinking a toggle switch but when I went to go look at em they come in different handling capacities, some 20 amps etc... And how would you wire the switch in?
2. The PO didn't have the emergency flasher switch installed in the car. I was wondering whether I could use a toggle switch or something that I put in the ash tray as well to control that.

20 amp will be plenty... jump the run wire (the one that goes to the "I"terminal)on the solenoid. this way the car will turn, but not start... a thief will start looking for a fuel shutoff, etc...

I did exactly this same thing when I had some ignition wiring problems with my car a few years back. Actually it gives power to my ignition box. The other switch gives power to the fuel pump.

haha thats wat i was thinking about, and especially with the switch being in the ash tray i was like wow! so run the wire that connects between the ignition and the I terminal? sounds good.

I wanted to do the same witht eh fuel line but i dont have an electric fuel pump, however i was thinking of investing in an electrical shut off valve.

How about with the hazard lights?
