But I dont know which ones to get. I have qa1 12 way adjustables with H& R supersport springs in the front that I need to replace because the QA1's are sorry excuses for a strut.
So I was looking at MM Race Valved 3 Bilsteins- about $550 for the front struts only, not including tax and shipping. The coil over kit is another $350, so we are looking at $900-$950 for the front only.
What kind of ride can I expect with the race valved bilsteins with 500lb springs, this is my daily driver, but I want to be able to hit the tracks in a few years and dont want to do anymore suspension upgrades. I am not familiar with coil overs or their spring rates, but I like a firm but good riding car.
What other coil over struts/coil over kits are out there for a 2000 mustang gt, I have found very little information. I know their are coil over kits for oem type sturts, which ones do these fit.
I was also thinking about eibach, but havn't seen any places that offer the struts with coil over conversion for those, will these be suitable for daily driving and track use later on. How do these compare with the bilsteins, any advice appreciated, want to get these soon because I have k-member, bumpstrer, a-arms, longtubes and x-pipe waiting to be put on.
The bilsteins seem a little expensive to me, Im looking for equal performance at a more reasonable price, also trying to stay away from adjustables. Thanks
