symptoms of bad front wheels bearings?

Make sure the bearing are adjusted properly and then drive the car. If the bearings are bad the area right around them on the wheel will get so hot you can't touch it. Be careful, if they're bad it will get HOT. It's also unlikely both sides would go bad at the same time and you can compare the two sides and see if they're about the same temperature.

Wheel bearings tend to rumble or roar when they're on the outs. You also might have a good bit of slop in the wheel if you jack the front end up.

A bad BJ can also create wheel slop and allow the assembly to get as hot as all get out.

Best bet is to get the front up in the air safely and take a looksie. There are a handful of things that can cause the noise, given the info provided.

Good luck.

i still have the stock ball joints....that might be a good place to start....just cuz im curious now, what will happen with my wheel bearings get worn out? other than getting hot

edit . usually wheels bearings may squeal when they are going bad

haha i still have the stock ball joints too. I think i gotta change em, because when i go over a harsh bump in the road, i usually hear a pop sound. I dunno, may be the tie rods too.

Propbably why my car always seems out of balance, even tho i've gone trough many wheel and tire combos.

ball joints arnt that hard to replace... took me about 6 hours to do both sides... you just need a press and a pickle fork to get them off... then press them all in... theres a write up here somewhere...
