in my '88 gt i just got the syncros redone because it didnt want to go in gear that well....and even after they were replaced it still doesnt go that well in gear, it goes in better but i thought that i would feel no resistance...and i heard that it could be the short throw thats in it. i want to see what you guys think ....thanks

well aftermarket shifters are known for being a bit stiffer & notchy. As long as it's not grinding & your not forcing it into geat, you should be ok.

how hard is it to get into gear? could be a clutch problem also. if the clutch doesnt release fully it will be hard to get into gear
