Hey guys,
tonight i was going out to eat and about 10min after i left my house on a cold engine i noticed smoke coming from under the car at a stoplight, i made it to a parking lot where i could look under and i have a huge splat the color of used oil about 2 inches into the straight part of my X coming from the headers, or right even with the transmission reverse switch is. any how it smells like trans fluid burning (plastic) and when i got home i jacked it up and started cleaning this bright red almost like new trans fluid off of my pipes and trans, i drove it for a few minutes and checked under again, no new fluid there. about 1 week ago i put a bottle of lucas trans treatment in through the shifter box (tri-ax) and that made it shift alot smoother.

Check and make sure either the drain or fill plug didnt come loose and spill a little fluid. Id also check and make sure that the seal didnt break on the shifter base where you added the Lucas.
