T-45 Problems NEED HELP!!!

This happened a couple of nights ago to my 99 Cobra
- I can drive in first and shift into second but it stays in first
- when off it shifts to all gears
- when running it wont shift into any gears other than first
- when off I will put it into third start it and try to go, however it feels like it is locked up
I can drive it in first, but that is it. Please does anyone have any idea what is wrong it just doesn't seem like a completely blown tranny. Any ideas PLEASE!!

same thing happend to my ex-girlfriend's dad's 67ss with an LS 6. All that happend was a sinkro (sorry bad speller) came off, broke, or wasn't working right. His got stuck in 4th and couldn't get to any other gears... I ended up driving it back cuz my ex-girlfriend couldn't hadle taking off in 4th. We lucked out cuz that damn motor is putting out 450hp with a 4spd and has 4-65 gears.....
