t-5 install - what gets greased??

I'll be wrapping up my AOD to T5 swap in next couple weeks. When i install the t-5, what gets greased up and what grease do i use??


I know the pilot bearing is pre-greased and says not to add any more grease.

the TOB is greased internally

My new clutch fork already has grease pre-applied where it rests on the pivot ball.

So i guess do i put some grease on my shaft of my steel input shaft bearing retainer? How much and what kind?

WHat about the input shaft splines? Any there?

I've always used a light coating of wheel bearing grease on the bearing retainer. A very thin coating (not enough to sling around and contaminate the clutch) has always done me right.

I used the moly grease like stuff that Napa has in the blue can thing.

i always put some assembly lube on the pivot ball and wipe a thin coat on the inside of the TOB (that rides on bearing retainer)
