I finished up my swap this evening and when the car is running and in neutral or in gear and driving, there is this rattling sound coming from the bellhousing so something is not quite right. Now, when I apply even the tiniest bit of pressure on the clutch pedal the rattling quits, which makes me think it might just be a cable adjusment issue. There's only a few things it could be, and I'm sure I can figure it out, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen. It's either cable adjustment, throwout bearing is a piece (even though it's new.) or the little springy clips on the clutch fork aren't holding the bearing and are rattling against it. But that doesnt' make much sense to me since the bearing sits pretty loose in the clips anyway. Any input from anyone who has ideas would be great.

Proper adjustment for the clutch is to have a slight preload on the cable (the noise is your TOB). Dial in a hair of preload (to mimic you putting your foot on the pedal) and the noise should permanently go away.

Congrats on the swap. Good luck.

Thanks for the verification guys. That's what I was thinking but it's good to hear it from others. I'll let you know how it goes. I drove it about a half a mile down the road earlier and I can already tell I'm going to absolutely love it.
