Hello,I'm saving up for a better tranny than the crappy rebuilt T-5 in my 92 GT.When I buy the TKO 500,do I need the new bellhousing and tranny mount the catalog lists?Or can I use the stock T-5's stuff? Thank you for any input,Jason
You will need a new bell housing and a new or modified rear transmission cross member.
You can modify the existing rear transmission cross member by breaking loose the tack welds on the bolt mount tubes and sliding it back. Once the transmission is in place, you can get it rewelded.
