I have the 4R70W auto in my 01 GT, i blew it out because of the RWTQ, now i', having nothing but problems each and every week, I have gone and purchased the T-56 HD 6 Speed but i have never converted over to a manual from auto in a ford. I have on the other hand done it on camaro's and from those past exps. it was amajor pain in the ass. Who has advice on this situation.
My AODE i have currently installed has Red Line Racing clutches (8 disc set) V.S. 6 that ford uses on a stock tranny, and it also has hardend parts with the transgo HD shift kit. That all was done about 1K miles ago, the question is how much do you think i can get out of it.
