I've had this trans for about 2-3 years now with no problems. Well, the other day it started to get hard to put into 2nd and 3rd gear. I changed the fluid,went from Mobil 1 atf, to Royal Purple. The gear change problems went away. Well tonight on the way home from work I was accelerating in 2nd gear then pushed the clutch in to slow down at a stop light and it made a loud noise that sounded almost like bad bearings or something. It lasted until I took it out of gear and let the clutch out. I couldn't make it do that again. Any idea on what this could be? Thanks!
