Hey guys i just purchased a new accu-fab throttle body last year. And its starting to seize up. When i first start up the car and hit the gas its hard like its stuck but then it frees up. My previous throttle body did the same thing. Could this be from running the coolant through it?
I don't think it has anything to do with the coolant. You might try to increase the idle speed a hair to keep the throttle blade from wedging itself in there. I had a BBK do that and it got aggravating having it pop open and then be fine as long as I eased the throttle closed. Let it close quickly and it'd get wedged again. Increasing the idle speed 100 rpm might keep the plate from that spot it sticks in. Just an idea.
