T-stat

What is the factory T-stat temperature and is there any benefit to be had by putting in a lower temp unit?

I'm running factory mechanical engine fan and stock radiator.

Stock is 192, you can run a 180 if you wish but do not go all the way down to a 160.

Not much benefit to it on a stock car. You'll get better mileage and cleaner emissions with the stock T-stat.

If you are buying a new T-stat, get one from the dealer. The parts store ones don't last, and can leave you stranded.
