So my friend broke his 3-4 Shift fork. I don't want to help him install another stock aluminum piece of crap. Is there anyone who carries or makes a stronger fork maybe made out of steel? Most places I have tired have them for the T56 but not my T45. Does anyone have any experience with a steel shift fork? Is it any better? Thanks Guys.

there is place near Phillie that builds T45. I'm sure theyhave them.
I used to have their web adress, but i don't have them anymore. they were featered in 5.0 or FF&MM once befor..

If i were you, I'll stop messing with T45, and drop TKO tho

EDIT - I found adress www.hanlonmotorsports.com give them a jingle

I am on borrowed time on MY 45.. I have hundreds of powershifts in mine, LOL yesterday I ran 7 powershifted runs at the track.

I also recomend a TKO if you go with the 600 I recomend 4.30's to make up for the taller first and second.

When the t-45 broke the 3-4 shifter fork I went with one from Hanlon motorsports. Much thicker and stronger than stock. Didn't brake and still works. I believe it cost $36 or $50 I don't exactly remember.http://www.hanlonmotorsports.com/ . But I got a TKO 500 now because I just don't want to bother fixing the t-45 again. It has broken twice and I don't power shift. The TKO 500 is great!

He just ordered one from Hanlon... He dosen't have 2 grand for the TKO so he's going to fix the T45. But he was hoping maybe someone made the 3-4 fork out of something stronger like steel???

Also with it running I can hear a vibration in the car near where my radio is I’m thinking maybe the flywheel? But I don’t see it causing it to squeal like that

Apparently the previous owner never changed the pilot bearing I have tried bread grease grease and bread together rented a slide hammer rented a tool with teeth on it I am about to just gently cut this thing out with a freaking dermal a little bit and chisel it out
