T45 throwout bearing issues

I have a 97' GT. My throw-out bearing damn near seized up on me. It looks like it scored the bearing shaft from the front of the transmission. How difficult is it to replace these and where do you find them?

"turns out that it was the input bearing retainer. on the t-45, if it is from a 96-98 mustang (mechanical speedo gear) it can be serviced and the part is available thru ford, F6ZZ-7050-C. on 99+ cars equipped with either the t-45 or the tr-3650, this part is not serviceable and you must purchase a new bell housing, as the retainer is part of the bell housing."
