Ok i have a 35th anniversery mustang gt currently 3rd and 4th gear will not even engage so a used tranny is in the works. I was wondering if I had the t45 or 3650? And if i get either or used what has to be done to swap in? Is there any diffrence, and can I use my bellhousing that is in the car now to reduce shipping weight?

Be warned, a lot of early 01-02 t-3650's have a 1-2 clunk problem when it's cold out. It's a design flaw of the tranny.

Trans is strong as **** though rated at 360 ft-lbs, but shifts like ass when it's cold out.

...but it's a T-45 that you need. Unless, you want to convert to a 3650. I personally love my T45, especially after a good fluid change, clutch, pivot ball and fork, and MGW. Look for LKQ, they usually have some sweet deals for trannys. Look there, and on Ebay, as long as the seller isn't jacking you on shipping.
