t5 experts come on in!!!

Hey, i need to know EVERYTHING that needs to be done to make a 2.3L t5 work with my 5.0 if anything

I have heard the pilot bearing, is this all???

yeah everthing is the same, use the v8 bellhousing and clutch kit and you will need a pilot bearing for a 1992 Escort GT, bolt it all together and keep your fingers crossed. Don't hammer on it too hard and it will last. You'll love the first gear!!!! Have fun.

I had a WC 4cyc t5 behind my 306 in my 66 coupe. You can just put a 87-93 mustang4 cyc pilot bearing in and put i all together. I also liked 1st gear with the 4 cyc tranny. Like he said dont beat on it to much and it will last, The input shaft is smaller and the internals are not as strong but for daily driving its great.
