Can somebody please tell me a way to fill a T5 from under the car? Don't say use those POS siphon pumps..they aren't worth a CRAP because they have to be above the object you are filling.

Well if you run those fluids..you'd have to wait a few hours between each fill and then you'd need a good magazine too
. Your tranny might get a little sticky shiftin there later on ...

But seriously though,i've used the type of pump you screw onto a large bottle.I used it from underneath.It can be done that way but it's such a PITA as it's so cramped down there and barely room for the bottle itself.Jacking the car up would not be an option since it wont be level that way.
through the shifter handle seems to be the best way.And at least you can see when it's topped off and not get fluid all over the place.

I did it this way. Took 5 minutes.
Get a small funnel, and make a mini beer bong with the tubing. You need 1/2 tubing. Run it down the firewall on the pass. side. Stick it in the open fil hole on the T5.
Pour it in until it comes out.
2.75 quarts will be enough.
Be sure to use some RTV on the plugs to seal them up good.
To get to the shifter you have to remove those two forward bolts which are a lot harder to get to than using the funnel through the engine bay.MustangLX-5.0 said:

I was just kidding around, Actually before ( like 6 years ago ) I went to a lube place and they tried to put gear oil in it, I've never gone back to one. I have a pump that looks like a grease gun ($10 at AutoZone). You unscrew the top and pour in the fluid you are using (or just suck it in), it has a plastic hose on the end -- stick it where you want the fluid and push in on the handle -- it goes in anywhere.
