I drained the fluid out of my T5 tranny today and it was grey and had alum floating in it, not big pieces, but the fluid was foggy. I put almost 3 quarts of mercon dextron 3 in it. This isnt the original tranny and I dont know what year tranny it is, it is definitally a V8 T5, but Im not sure what year. The fluid I drained was 3 years old. IS this normal?
