nope the input shafts are splined diffrent also the tranny housing bolts do not line up with the ford bellhousing .

IIRC, the shifter is in a different location on the F-Body T-5's, as well - it's located farther forward. (Or maybe I'm getting that mixed up with the T-5 out of an S-10 pickup/S-10 Blazer with a 2.8L...? )

You are correct...shifter is further forward since the engine on those cars is set further back
