I am wrapping up my T5 install and was wondering if I need to leave the clutch fork spacer (not actually sure what it's called) with my setup. I'm using a JMC hydraulic clutch. I didn't seem to have much play with this in, so I removed it. None of the articles I read indicate leaving this in or removing it. Here's a photo (sorry for the crappy quality) of what I'm talking about:

Thanks for that! I'm trying to figure out how to attach pics to the site, but all are too big in size. I use CarDomain.com for photos, but couldn't find a way to link the pics properly. What's the secret?

that looks like someone put it in for a mechanical-linkage clutch fork (clutch pivot). I dont think you need it.

Mine did not have that also and I also am running the JMC hydraulic clutch kit. You can get rid of it.

Thanks for the confirmation fellas. The BH is from an 86 GT, which would have used a cable clutch. Funny, when I got it off eBay, the seller said the BH was in perfect condition with no cracks etc, just a little dirty. When I got it, I n oticed the ear where a clutch cable mounts was sheared off. Lucky for me, I had planned to go hydraulic anyway, which doesn't use this mounting ear. Lesson learned though, need to really analyze the pics before bidding...
