Alright couple of things, with my tranny in neutral and car idleing i can hear an "knocking". At first i thought it was the engine, then i shimmied my little a** under and car and low and behold it coming from the tranny. and thoughts?

Next...ive been trying to track down a vibration issue. its at upper high way speeds and hard acceleration. Its also been kind of poping when starting off, i can hear it barely but i can for sure feel it in the floor board. kinda feels like something flexing and poping under tourqe load. I also notice when i was under the car i could noticabley see the tailshaft of the tranny moving while idleing. could this be a product of a failed tailshaft mount bushing? Also if i grab the yoke at the tailshaft i can move it a fair bit in any direction thanks :nice:

Does the knocking noise speed up and slow down with engine RPM or is it fairly consistent? Does your shifter seem to have left to right play?(Shifter moving with loose transmission)
If you can move the tailshaft of the transmission up ,left, and/or right more than 1/2" by hand you got a mount problem. If the mount is gone you are going to get all kinds of strange noises under acceleration from universal joints and the transmission flopping around.
