hey guys like the title says i am rebuilding my t5 and im just wondering what to keep an eye out for and if you found any procedures easier than others. thanks
They will help you out. You can get a video from them, that will show you how to rebuild it and what to look for step by step. I have done business with them a few times and I highly recommend them.
Look for any cracking and unusual wear patterns on constants-moving parts. Replace the stock aluminum bearing retainer (or quill) if you haven't already done so. Pretty much if you have a kit with all the parts, make sure you try to use as much of them as possible (a lot of people skip the some of the special tool-required parts). Make sure the kit also includes the essentials like the seals, all the bearings and especially the blocker rings. Just use quality parts, a good amount of wheel bearing grease (mainly for initial aiding purposes), high temp RTV to seal it up, and some good synthetic ATF. Good luck!
