that is really the hardest part making sure your flexplate is the right one for your application. So you will need a 28 oz. 157/164 tooth flex. The rest is just removing and replacing parts. You will also need a pilot bearing remover to get it out of crank to make way for the convertor snout.

no kinda lookin for the right one as of now...does anyone have a write up of switching?i have a billet 164 tooth flywheel so im gonna need a different one since its automatic?
you'll need a 28 oz. 157 tooth flexplate to give yourself more header clearance just ask for a small 157 bell when ordering your tranny. As far as manuf. we run a Dynamic Mighty Mite w/ reverse vb and love it!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!
