i cannot get the fill plug out of my transmission... i was just making sure it doesnt hurt anything to just dump the fluid in the top of the tranny (take out the shifter) and i need to know how much fluid to put in...because i cannot check the standard way with the fill plug in!
omg that is soo much easier than what I did. Lacking a pump, I always made a long hose and ran it from the engine bay to the fill hole and let the fluid drain in. Also, it usually took around 2.5 bottles to get mine full to the hole. I will be doing this too later tonight as I am pulling an auto out of an lx right now (food break)
