Noticed some transmission fluid coming out of the T5 at the tailshaft. Just got car back together. T5 is used and put aluminum driveshaft in. Seal at tailshaft doesn’t look to be in bad shape but it’s leaking out from behind that seal, into driveshaft then down onto exhaust.
Just curious who’s been down this road before. Does replacement of that seal only tend to typically fix this and how hard of a job is that with transmission still installed?
Or have a lot of people seen this one still leak after the seal and there be more too it.
Just trying to prep myself for how to fix.
