i just recently swapped out a installed a T56 i got from D & D motorsports and now the starter wont crank. The solemoid doesnt even make the clicking sound. The battery is fully charged. The only thing im concerned about is the neutral safety switch. i know theres something on the clutch pedal for it and theres a wire that goes into the old tranny for it...but there doesnt seem to be a hook up on the T56. im guessing this is the problem but im not sure how to go about fixing it. any input would be helpful.. thank you in advance

only neutral saftey thing is the clucth switch i believe. Was the car a 5 speed before?? if so it should crank even without a tranny. What year is your car? are you positive you got the starter wires on correctly and the starter is bolted in good

the car was a 5 speed before and its an 89 lx....doesnt the starter only have 1 wire to it because the solenoid is remotely mounted? i read a diagram somewhere that there was a neutral safety wire that went to the old tranny. when i push the clutch in and turn the key, nothing happens
