T5Z Whine Noise ?

I have a brand new T5Z from Tremec that I put in last week , I put 250 miles on it so far and it ****s great and everything but i am nervous about some noises. 1st gear is fine but in 2nd at 2500rpm it will whine ( like a blower) then quiet down , and it whines a little tiny bit in 3rd if you have the radio off.

Am I being paranoid or does this sound like a problem? I was going to give Tremec a call but couldn't find a phone number.

Is it full of fluid and what fluid did you use

I run mobile 1 synthetic in mine...

He probably means fluid. What fluid did you fill it with?

Sorry about the typo. I'm running a Tri-Ax and it is adjusted properly and its full of castrol dex/merc ATF . I checked the fluid twice so far and the level is fine.

I have an astro T5 with "Z" spec gears and no whine ( I have the MGW shifter also) in any gear. I just got back from my buddies house and was telling him about this so we jumped in his LX and took a ride. He has a T5Z from ford racing and he has no whine in any gear either. neither of us have any whine or drivetrain "odd" noise or vibration. I would give ford racing or your vendor a call. It may need a break in, a handful might make this noise or something is up, sounds odd to me.
