I've got a dent in the rear tail light panel from the PO and am looking for a way to fix it without replacing the whole panel. At first, the dent looks like there is a small dink on the upper lip of the tail light panel, but when you either put a straightedge along it or put the fender extensions on, you notice that the section around the obvious dent is pushed in. The owner of the local mustang graveyard said the best way to push that section of the panel out is to place a piece of wood along the top of the panel and the wood with the hammer until it's straight again. Will this work, or am I just wasting my time?
