Well this weekend while my car was parked at Blockbuster, some A hole backed into my 91 gt with a previously clean record, then to make it worse, he drives off. So, my taillight got smashed out and my bumpers scratched up. So my question is this, I'm gonna get lx taillights cause they look better anyway(in my opinino) and i took off the old taillights and i need the whole new taillight assembly because it got cracked badly. I was wondering if this is everytning i need
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/mustangweekly/19lxtale.html It seems like the light might come apart into two seperate pieces but I can't really tell and before i ordered these i wanted to be sure that this was the full piece i need.

Any info would be appreciated

Thanks

If the mounting frame is ok, then those lenses shoud do the trick. That seems kind of expensive just for the lenses. Iv'e seen them on ebay including the housing for less. As a matter of fact, I sold a set of stock tail lights(complete) for about 50 bucks. Granted they were used, but they were in excellent condition. Check out ebay.
Ebay tail light link
Those are complete with housings.

The mounting frame of the light is definitely cracked and therefore, it is shot so I'll probably get those on ebay that you sent(thanks a ton for that) and i just have another question...my car is red and the old lights were red on the top of that mounting frame on the light, whereas the ones on ebay are black(where the chip is). I was wondering if anybody has put on LX taillights with the black mounting frame on a different colored car...If so, is it noticeable and how does it look?? Any pictures would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

No brands come to mind but something that will work well with plastic.

they came just black like the ones on ebay from the factory...so it'd be fine to just put them on like they are. People paint the housings to match the car because they think it looks better. so you can either just put them on like they are (black) or if you think it looks better, paint them to match the car.
