CHEEZ GRATORZZ! Yep as most did, 15 years a go also I "followed the fad" of installing LX lenses on my GT. But a couple of years ago I blew the dust off, shot a fresh coat of base/clear ,and reinstalled these beauties. I just luv-em!
Best pic I currently have of my back side.

I have to confess, they were it excellent shape when I bought the car. I just keep them clean and maintain them at this point.
I like to use Meguiar’s PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish. I'd like to swap them out for some cobra style eventually.
Thanks

Thanks, I appreciate it.
I have such big plans/dreams for this car. I also have a wife and 3 teenage kids that usually get every extra dollar I have.
Don't get me wrong, I love them, but d@#n it will be nice when ol' dad can spend some money on himself for a change.
This whole being a responsible adult thing is getting old...

I believe I'm gonna' try the wet sand paper grit stated above and finish with your suggestion. I've never really done any good cleaning on them so they should take to it. Any tips with that stuff?? I'm just not removing them for now.

I'm sure there's 10 different ways you can do it but I just hand buff it on and off. Nothing real special about it for me at least.
It will probably depend on how bad the lenses are.

What did you use to seal the lenses back up?
I noticed some moisture inside mine after I washed it. I was going to go ahead and pull them apart, clean and paint the inside and reseal.
I saw a kit with Butyl tape from LMR but I'b rather get something local if possible.
Thanks

Did you spray ALL the silver housing, upper two and far edge only or did you spray it also on the lower red strip too??
