So my taillights and side markers werent working and I finally gave in and took my car to ford. The number 4 fuse kept blowing when I tried to turn them on so ford checked all the wiring and found no shorts and then they tested the wire which should have 15 amps through it but instead it has 18 (which is why the fuse kept blowing). So they just put a 20 amp fuse in it and they said at first it has 18 amps goign through it then it drops down to 10. Kind of a jig rig fix, but oh well i guess right? My question is this, should I do the GT fog light fix (http://www.corral.net/tech/maintenance/foglights.html) and see what happens or just leave it?? If I do this will it lower the amps going through that wire and put it back down to 15???

i dont understand the whole amp thing, i think what the fog light fix does is send the fog light switch through a different wire or something so that the headlights and fog lights dont go through the same wire which is really weak something like that not sure if it can lower the amps, sry im not really sure at all

At least he had SOME info to contribute...what is the point of your reply?

Amps are like the volume of electricity flowing through the wire. If you have more amps going through a circuit, something is drawing more electricity. Try checking all the bulbs on that circuit. Maybe you have brighter bulbs in there or something.
