I'm thinking about changing the look of my original tailpipes. Maybe something more contour with the rear of my stang, like the notch guys. Anyone have pics of different tailpipe styles, sizes, etc.?

snoozer, what exactly did you cut and reweld? Just the hangers to angle them up more or cut the actual pipe at an angle and have it we rewelded together. Looks great!

I should have gotten pictures after I polished the tips on my car but never did

I cut the pipes on my back in the parking lot of the appartment. Everey neighbor loved me

then I went and had it rewelded a bit later

here is the best I can describe. I did this because I cut the pipes off and sold my flowmasters. I bought spintechs which hang a tad lower and also came were a little long ger than the flowmaster, so the extra material I wrote about was not needed.

Yes those are magnaflow 3.5" tips. Same as what I have. The look really cool from behind. From the side you can see where the tips attach to the rest of the exhaust. It doesn't look bad IMO, but I'm going to get a saleen rear bumper I think which will hide that and the tips fit really nice in the saleen exhaust cutouts. I think the stock tips just look small and wimpy. But then again, a lot of people think the 3.5" tips look ricey, so either way it's really up to the owner. If I were to do it again, I'd prolly rather have 3" tailpipes all the way (polished, of course).
