Taking of my tires?

I have a problem. I lost my key to take of the locked lug. Ford is going to charge just 100 to take of a dam lug. I also asked pep boys and they said they will charge 80 bucks. I was wondering if anybody knows a way of taking it off. I am worried that if i ever get a flat tire, i would be stuck on the road. So can someone help me out??

Why don't you just buy a new key? Or just get a set of regular lugs and not worry about the security lug. A bolt extractor will get it out.

get a pair of vise-grips, and clemp em down. then justwrench 'em off. I had the same prob. that should work. I had one that didn't though, and i had to get a chisel and tap a groove in the edge of it, then spin it off with a hammer. pain in the ass.

That is what i am going to do? Once i take them off, i am just going to replace them with regular ones. Cause my rims aint anything special, so i aint to worried about anybody stealing them.
