So I went to 8 different parts stores, two in my hometown, 15 miles away, 5 in the town I go to school in, 30 minutes away, and another 1 in the state capital and biggest city, which is 25 miles away. None of these parts stores sold IAC valve gaskets. EVERY ONE OF THEM told me they could sell me the IAC VALVE itself with the gasket, for like 50 some bucks, but none of them sold the gasket itself. Previous to this I took the iac off and cleaned it and did some other things and the idle runs fine now, but I noticed the gasket was all gunked up and since it is an easy fix I figured I'd do that in a jiff. Well since I can't find one I was wondering if anyone at all could give me a part number or direct me to some place where I can actually purchase one. And just for ****s and giggles, would you believe that all but one of the stores had no idea what an IAC, IAB, or their full names actually were?

That doesn't surprise me. 99% of times the gasket is only replaced when the IAC is replaced. Your local Ford dealer should be able to get you one.

Why not get some gasket material and make your own? Or you could try using some RTV gasket maker. Good luck

it sounds like you spent that 50$ in gas driving around looking for one instead of actually buying it

Very true just hope your auto part store knows what RTV gasket maker is.

Save the gas for burning rice.

Agreed. I think LRS sells them for under 3 bucks if you can think of other crap to buy to justify the shipping (I recently did this on a 5 buck plug. ).

I have called around to no avail for IAC gaskets for other cars as well, so dont feel bad.

Good luck.

You get one in every intake gasket kit for the stock intake and the kit cost ~$15. Also has a distributor o-ring in it too. I have several in a box from kits.

Intake kit = Fel Pro MS93334

Fel Pro part number for just the IAC/IAB gasket is - 94059
