On the other hand, what the hell do you match up with that (transmission and clutch) that will handle the torque? Maybe a powerglide?

There is a comapny in ohio that states they can manufacture a bellhousing to mate any tranny to any motor... id like to see thier faces when you pull in with this thing.

Oh I'm sure there is...but I'm just curious if there are any off-the-shelf tranmissions that can take 1,000 ft/lb. of torque. I'm sure they exist (maybe not off the shelf), but I'm just curious.
