Could any one tell me if the tall valve covers are required to clear full roller or roller tip rockers?

Depends on what non-tall covers you have, but you are unlikely to need to change for roller tips.

If you want the stock looking tall covers in chrome, Moroso makes a tall set that don't have their name stamped into them.

Ford Racing also makes a tall valve cover. It'll also clear stud girdles (although not with the baffles installed).

I needed to go to the taller covers when I upgraded to roller tipped rockers. I found a new pair at the Columbus Ohio swap meet for $20.

I used to have plain chrome valve covers from Oreillys, but they were too short when i put roller rockers. I didnt have time to just order a cheap pair from anywhere so i had to but a pair of chrome ford racing ones at a local distributor.... 120 bucks!!!! they look good but i didnt want to spend that much on valve covers....

These clear, not sure what your looking for, but they have a nice clean look without the stickers. LOL

They clear my stud girdles with no problem. Tight fit coming off with the braces but they still do, just a little work.

Clears this no prob.

Dunno if that helps any.

The Moroso covers are about half that price.

I ran my cobra V/C's on my 351w using spacers, then I found felpro double thick V/C gaskets, I modified the baffles with aluminum flashing, I now run them on my 408 with the double thick gaskets, crane gold roller rockers and a cam with 578 576 lift with no problems.
