any suggestionos on how to get road tar off exhaust tips???

new tips. ahahha
bug and tar remover not cuttin it?
If not I don't know anything else I would suggest to someone else everything else I know is to caustic or drastic.
Have you checked some detailing forums?

try some gas or some laquor thinner

Followed by hand glaze and wax.

That makes sense using laquer thinner, but the wax i dotn understand. Wouldnt it just get hot and ruin teh finish, this is on teh exhaust tips not teh body.

It may burn off, but I find waxing mine makes things like tar come right off with a second coat of wax. they look extra shiney also.

after u use laquor thinner use some mothers
polish thats in that small red can

just to let you know....i found that mothers wadding polish (in the silver can) does a great job at tar and grime removal.
