targa top conversion for 94-04 coupes

  • Sponsors (?)

We've had this discussion a few times but I'll reiterate the issues for you:

- Yes it looks cool
- It will NOT cost you $1k to do this unless you work in a body shop
- It WILL cost you closer to $4k because of all of the stuff that will have to be made right because your car will not fit the kit perfectly
- You have to be pretty ballzy to be willing to cut your roof out
- There seems to be some question about how well the water will be sealed out by this system

All of this being said, if you do it please be sure to post pics for us and give us a full review of the process and quality of the product.

id think it would be a necessity for v8's but i think you may not need them for the v6's

I don't care if you have no motor in there and you're operating Flintstone's style, you want some subframe support. You're removing structural support when you remove the roof.
