Engine Tarus fans same as contour?

Poking around a junk yard today, number of Taurus (Tauri?) Available. curious if the fan setup /parts are the same? Just keeping options open for a cooling upgrade from stock belt driven fan.
Anyone put together a parts list of what is needed?

Not the same, but many have used them before Contour fans became known (and since as well). I am not sure on the size (height and width) of the Taurus fans, but the Contours are a perfect fit for a stock Foxbody rad.

They will work equally as well.
