Mine looks just like your's SBC, except I used PVC pipe. I don't trust that DWV stuff..... it feels too flimsy. Question: what are the 2 bolts in the side?
That DWV stands for drain, waste, vent, and its not meant to maintain any kind of pressure. It will shatter and blow up in your face. Use Schedule 40 PVC which is designed to resist internal pressures similar to the ones created in the combustion process.
dude your crazy using abs pipe...im a plumber ill tell you ...be careful that pips is not the best choice for a potatoe gun...i would get rid of it and make one out of pvc..much better...and safer....
The two screws are wired to the ignition and the spark arcs between the two ends and ignites the fuel. I did not know this type of pipe was unsafe, i dont use this thing anymore so i guess it does not matter.
We got one in the garage....Every couple weeks we put a bag of taters thru it....They are insane...We tried some raquet balls...They rip to...re-usable ammo...
I like to pile em dead on into a tree at 50' or so...nothing but potato juice
I'll snap a pic tomorrow...We got it at a Yankee swap thing at Christmas....
